Always an amazing experience when we go to The Archive. Nothing is ever too much for them. We come in with our baby and his big pram and they always accommodate us and welcome us. Rochelle and Yasi are brilliant and so kind hearted and they truly are the definition of kindness. We love the food and drink and they’ve even got diary free brownie and milk alternatives as I’ve struggled with diet for my little one. Truly an amazing experience and worth the visit.

A lovely large, airy space, very comfortable and homely, i immediately felt relaxed. There is a large book shelf so you can sit and read whilst enjoying excellent food and drinks. The owner Yasi is very friendly and hospitable, he makes delicious cakes fresh throughout the day, when we arrived he had just put batch in the oven. Wide range of interesting coffees and artisan teas and seasonal drinks. Prices comparable to other cafes in the area. This is dog friendly with a jar of biscuits waiting on the counter to treat your dog. Yasi's own gorgeous Shih Tzu extends a warm welcome to all, her bed is they're in the corner when she needs to lie down. Best of all they're is a "kindness board" allowing you to buy a "pay it forward" ticket which will be used for people less well off. Just a really nice plane to be, well worth a visit.

One of the loveliest cafes i have ever visited, The Archive is what all cafes should aspire to be. From its beautiful decor to its upgraded cafe classics and its beautiful staff. The ‘Emerald elegance’ avocado toast was delightfully fresh & bursting with flavour. The ‘Ceylon Sunrise with Serengeti Beans’ just wow, scrambled eggs & beans that were so delicious and nothing like we’d ever had before. We also bought some cakes to take home, the orange and lavender and the rose and pistachio - light, delicate, and tasty as can be. You can taste the passion & artistry in all the food, and we are already trying to plan when we could come back as we aren’t local. I can’t believe the Archive has only been open a few months, perfection in the form of a cafe & if we lived closer we’d definitely be regulars. We feel so lucky to have visited such a wonderful space & be so welcomed by the owners, thank you!

What I say about this place other than I agree with all the reviews & more. I’m a full English and burger and chips kind a guy but not here. I went for the Odyssey Bowl and scoffed the lot!! Loads of amazing flavours served in an eclectic friendly atmosphere by a fantastic family. Smiles everywhere from staff and customers is what you always want to see. The wife will be back with friends and we’ll both be back again with the kids. Wish them all the success and definitely worth waiting for because when the tables are full it only means one thing.

Called in Archive today for lunch for the first time while wandering around Holmfirth & immediately was greeted with a friendly welcome & shown a table for 2. We had the sweet & spicy sausage melt & a la toast beef, accompanied by a glow tea & kadha tonic tea.......absolutely the best toasted sandwich & tea I’ve tasted in a long time. Really good service & a fantastic relaxed atmosphere. Smiles all round

The food and service were both exceptional. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, upon arrival and throughout the whole duration we were here. We both had coffee and the scrambled the eggs, both were made to perfection and so flavoursome. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re reading this, you won’t be disappointed.
